Västkustpärlan protects your personal integrity. The personal data we use is processed in accordance with applicable law or other regulations at any time. On May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force within the EU.

This document constitutes a policy for our collection, use and processing of personal data within the framework of our operations. “Personal data” means information that is directly or indirectly linked to a natural, living person. Collection and disclosure
Necessary personal data about you is usually collected, if not directly from you, via the vehicle dealer or workshop. Your personal data may also be collected from an external party that handles the personal data in connection with a change of vehicle ownership, such as the Swedish Transport Agency or a finance company. When you use our service, certain information will also be collected automatically. This includes behavior on the website and technical data, which may include the URL that gives you access to the website (unique device ID, information about network and device performance, type of browser, language and information about identification and operating system).

The personal data is primarily used within Västkustpärlan, but may be disclosed to other companies and organizations with which we collaborate. As a general rule, your personal data is processed within the EU and EEA.

Purpose and legal basis
We use several legal bases for processing personal data depending on the purpose;

• If you are a customer of ours, processing of your personal data is necessary for us to be able to enter into and perform our agreements with you and to be able to take measures that you have requested before such an agreement is entered into. Sometimes we need to process your social security number and we do this in order to be able to identify you securely.
• When you contact us, we need to process personal data about you in order to provide good personal and digital service. We support this processing on the basis of what is known as the balancing of interests.

You have the right to request information about what personal data we process about you and how the data is processed. You also have the right to request a copy of the personal data processed by us. Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) and restriction
You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data at any time, for example if the processing is no longer relevant in relation to the purpose for which the data was collected or if you object to processing based on a balancing of interests. You can also request that certain processing of your data be restricted, for example if you object to the accuracy of the data.

Right to data portability
If you have given your consent or if we base the processing on a contract with you, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit these to another data controller or to have our assistance in transferring the data to another data controller when this is technically possible.

Right to file a complaint
If you have any complaints regarding our processing of your personal data, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Swedish Data Protection Authority ( www.imy.se ).

Data Controller
The data controller for the processing of your personal data is Västkustpärlan*, with whom you have entered into an agreement or otherwise provided personal data to, or who has received your personal data from a third party. Västkustpärlan has established joint customer registers within the group that contain general information about customers, such as names, contact details and details of engagement. For the processing of personal data in joint customer registers, the branches within Västkustpärlan, and as far as obtaining personal data from external registers is concerned, are joint data controllers.
